Verified Customer Reviews for Draggin Jeans Knee Armour
Comfy and reassuring in my Bullitt jeans
27 August 2019 by David F
Great value. Fit well in my jeans and sit nicely when riding with no comfort issues at all.

Good, not great

Good enough knee protectors. When on the bike they don't really flex with the knee joint and the bottom tends to stick up and not cover the bottom half of the knee. OK for commuting around town.

Knee Armour

Fits in the jeans knee pocket much better with the aid of the velcro.

Great product
15 October 2018 by Kerry S
There are a good product. They are no means the best you can get but they do their job will. Lucky enough I've not need to test them in a accident so I can't say how well they would be but the feel of them do give me confidence when riding my bike.

Got these free, wouldn't want to pay for them
01 March 2018 by Graeme N
I received these knee pads as a freebie with a pair of Draggin jeans, so I can't really complain, but I wouldn't choose to buy them. They're pretty bulky and not very flexible so feel quite uncomfortable when walking around. On the bike I find that they don't quite mould themselves around my knees properly and tend to shift about easily as a result. I'm sure they would give decent protection in an accident (fortunately I haven't been in a position to test this!) but they're not very practical for day to day use. You can buy much better pads for the same kind of money.

Great jeans
22 February 2018 by John M
Only had the jeans a few weeks, however first impressions are superb. Fit and style are excellent and they appear to have fantastic protection (which I hope I never have to test!!). Sizing might be a little small I had to move up o a 36 inch waist.

Sturdy and stylish jeans
08 September 2017 by Katie
As a new rider, I'm really impressed with these jeans. Nice to see safety was not compromised for fashion. They fit and look great but you can feel how protective they are, nice and thick without looking bulky, with Kevlar protecting all your key areas. I'm usually a size 8-10. Ordered a 12 which was a bit tight but it's so easy to return and exchange. Traded up for 14 which fits perfectly in riding position. Customer service is flawless, delivery is fast (one hour time slots). I wish all shopping was this easy! I'll be back for the rest of my gear soon.

Impossible to fit properly into Draggin Slix
28 January 2016 by Johannes H
I'm having a hard time rating these knee pads as knee pads: I'm fortunately not in a position to comment on their ability to protect your knees (they seem OK) - but I can comment on their ability to fit comfortably into a pair of Draggin Slix: it's abominable.
This is entirely to do with their "fastening" system: two measly extruded patches of "positive" Velcro to hook into the trousers' Kevlar lining.
Even if I had ever been able to position them properly (trying to position a sticky knee pad with your hand down a pair of relatively tight fitting jeans is NOT fun, or even remotely possible) - I wouldn't trust a four-square-cm contact patch to keep them in place in case of an accident, or even an extended ride.
Bought a pair of Knox tubes instead. Happy now.
(All that said - they're free, so if you can't afford a better solution they'd probably tide you over)

Fine, I guess
27 October 2015 by Khan
The quality of these seem good. They are held in place by two Velcro portions that clip on to the Kevlar knee lining of Draggin jeans. You need to set them up right for you in your riding position which may take a few go's. You may find when you're walking around that the top of the armour knocks into your knees, and that you accidentally pop the armour out if you put the jeans on without due care. It would be better if the jeans had some sort of pocket over the lining to keep these tucked away more.

Great jeans listen to size comments
15 October 2015 by Anonymous
As with all other comments, believe that you need to get two sizes up. I'm 6-8 UK size but bought this in a AUS size 10 (UK12). They're a bit long on my legs (I'm a shorty) but can easily roll up the bottom and still look good. Love the look.

Lightweight and comfortable
14 August 2015 by Mc J
The jeans feel the same weight as normal denim jeans despite the additional padding from the Kevlar / dragging protection.
Size is good, the waist is what it says it is and you don't need to order larger than you are.
Leg length is long at about 32/33 inches inside left, so you may need to take these up - fine when on a bike with angled legs to keep your ankles covered up too.
Loving the white and camo pattern.
Not tried & don't want to try the dragging / sliding protection.
Enough room for knee protection underneath jeans too if you want that.
My calfs are very "chunky" and my upper legs and thighs are well built too, yet these jeans fit brilliantly.

Lovely looking jeans

Really lovely jeans but agree with other reviewers re sizing. I am a size 6-8 and ordered the AUS size 10 (UK12) and they are perfect.

Great jeans

Great jeans - comfortable and look good. Free knee inserts included too. Only downside is, it is hard to fit boots inside jeans so would need to be worn outside.
