Arai Tour-X5 VAS-A ProtecTint Pinlock Insert

As per all Pinlocks it fitted the Tour X5 visor well.
Limited sun availability and no bike ride in this winter weather but ---
I have tried to gauge the Tint by wearing the helmet looking direct at the sun for a few minutes.
The jury is still out on whether or not it gives practical benefit -- it didn't seem to tint much.
Arai visors are supposed to cut out 99% of UV so perhaps not a surprise.

Works well and changes quickly. Just gives a light tint - at its darkest it's similar to the official light smoke visor. Saves fiddly visor changes but for touring in strong sunlight I'd need sunglasses as well. One thing to note is that the peak on the Tour X helmet will shield the visor in some situations meaning it will not darken as much which is good for me in changeable commutes. If it got a bit darker it would be perfect but I suppose there are legal limits.
