Bought this for my BMW due to it having the CANBUS option for charging, but have decided to go with attaching directly to the battery with the charging port cable tied to frame. Easy to set up with detailed instructions or if you prefer a QR code for video instruction. I like the hanging hook that comes with the charger, just hook over the handlebars. TecMate do quality chargers and previously owned the Optimate 1 but have upgraded due to changing my bikes. All in all very happy with the product

I bought this as the bike has a Lithium battery which my previous Optimate wouldn't charge.
The battery was totally flat which needed to be taken to my local BMW dealer for a deep charge and rest, be aware this charger will not do this !
Now the battery is refreshed the Optimate is working as it should, the pack comes with all the leads and hook which is handy. Easy to set & use.
SBS delivered early, great service.

Plugs straight into my din socket on the Triumph 900 gt pro.
Progressive charging of the battery from slow start to maintenance mode.
Easy to understand once you've read the instructions.

Recently purchased above battery charger. Excellent product will charge my battery through the can bus system on my bmw or directly from a permanent lead on the battery or you just use the crocodile clips. I purchased this charger because my new bike as got a lithium battery

Arrived quickly well packaged. No assembly involved. Useful hook to hang the charger over the handlebar. Gives useful readout of battery life. Comes with various leads to connect to bike including BMW DIN socket plug. Just what I expected really.

Don't be caught with a flat battery

I managed to break my BMW trickle charger; note to all. Make sure you unplug before riding off…
This replacement is excellent. It plugs straight into the CANBUS socket, monitors the battery and keeps it topped up. The additional connectors mean I can use it to charge my old Bonneville as well.
Highly recommended.

Not used as yet but a charger designed to be used on a triumph with the plug to go straight into the power outlet on the bike so no need to add a lead onto the battery sounds like the perfect piece of kit to me.
