I have used many chargers over the years - Oxford, CTEK, NOCO and Optimate.
I reckon this one is the best to date.
Suitable for different battery types and so simple to use especially through the power socket (CANBUS) on my GS with Lithium battery.
Usual top quality I have come to expect from Optimate and good value too!

Now to the product.
I got this charger survival for the BMW R1300GS as the new 1300 has a Lithium battery.
This particular charger has a Din/Hella plug which is ready to plug in to the GS directly. Couldn't be easier and works perfectly.
What more can you ask.

This charger seems to be able to do everything but I only needed a simple plug it in and leave it to maintain the battery. You only need to select the battery type. I found the lamps and layout non-intuitive but once you're set up it does a good job of testing, loading and maintaining. I use the Can-bus and the din plug on my GSA and plug it in after every trip.

Bought a new BMW and was told my old optimate was not suitable, the BMW one was not available so opted for this as it came with the DIN adapter required.
Charging is nice and simple just choose which type of battery and method of charge required, plug in and leave.
I've had no problems charging through the CAN BUS system and battery shows when fully charged.
Comes with multiple connections enabling you to choose which you prefer.

Delivery was really quick as it was not in stock but arrived within a few days. Excellent service from SBS as usual.

Decided this was the charger I wanted because of the Bmw connection. Saw it cheaper elsewhere but contacted SBS shop as I prefer to buy from them. The reason their service, quality and delivery is 2nd to none. Got an email back and as usual the price matched it. Charger is top class, it has many options and simple to use.
