Good but waist elastic twists

Exactly what I was looking for.
Wind & waterproof at the front of the legs, soft and comfy at the rear.
Generous leg length and waist height.
I normally wear a large in most things but after reading other reviews went for a medium, they fit great.
Only one downside for me, now access slit if you want a quick pee.
And because of the high waist it's a bit of a wrestle with the layers if you know what I mean.
Not a dealbreaker though.
Really happy with my purchase.

Does the job, great price

Follow the advice, size down on these. I am usually M to L in everything. I ordered a size S which fits perfectly.

They keep the wind chill off the front when wearing Kevlar jeans with just stretch fleece at the back so they never get sweaty. Bit drafty round the crotch so would go for something a bit more heavy duty in the depths of winter, but will be in proper waterproof insulated trou for that anyway.

And the price... spot on.

Solidly made, don't expect high quality materials but they seem to do the job well enough. Definitley good wind blockers. Get a size down, I'm normally a large, medium fits me fine!

I was hesitant to try this out due to the other reviews mentioning the back of the trousers feel the chill. However, I haven't had that experience. I have thermals underneath, then these trousers and then my jeans.

It seems that the front is thicker on the inside that the back, but that makes sense as that's where the wind is coming from - I ride a cruiser if that helps to put things into perspective.

Together with the thermals, I'm actually warm, no chill coming in anywhere, the trousers seem high quality, no loose fabric or strings anywhere. I'm very happy with this product. I recommend it.

Good quality and performs great. Unfortunately size is too big ( order a smaller size than usual to fit) and as a suggestion, a fly could be helpful when you stop for a leak

Best base layer I've had really comfortable and the wind stopper layer does what it says. Really baggy so if you prefer a tight fit you're best off getting smaller size. I'll definitely be getting a few more.

Good but could be better

Bought these to go under Kevlar jeans. They keep the worst of the wind off of the tops of your legs but could do with the membrane at the the back also.
Sizes are generous so order smaller than you would normally. I have a 36" waist and 34" leg and the medium was perfect

Only thing is I had to exchange for a size smaller as they came up really baggy

I purchased the top of this design two years ago and given it is still perfect quality after extensive use decided to buy the trousers.

The design is excellent due to not being bulky but stopping air passing through the front. This stops your legs getting cold during cooler weather. Meaning my bike riding season has now been extended into earlier and later months of the year.

Firstly, these thermals are quite baggy and high waisted so I went two sizes smaller per recommendations from other reviews.

Performance wise, you can feel they work but they don't work that much better, if at all, than my cheap £10 thermals from a high st sports store.

The front side of the thermals have the wind proofing but the rear side does not so at the end of a ride the back of the legs are colder than the front !

Given the price, my expectations were high, perhaps unfairly, so these would be a good option if you did not have thermals already.

In the end, I now wear both pairs of my thermals though ultimately I am going to have to invest in proper winter riding trousers and give up on the riding jeans.

Worth every penny

I bought these to go under a pair of Rukka Trousers bought on Flea-bay but which turned up without any liners.

These are an ideal replacement, warm and comfy but not bulky. Twinned with the top (which I had forgotten I bought years ago) I have stayed very warm on recent cold and wet commutes.

Sizes do come up on the big side so order a size or two smaller.

Ideal under leathers

Do a great job under perforated leathers, protecting from wind chill without being too restrictive. Odd sizing though, as per other feedback bought 2 sizes below normal and they are still roomy. I am 5' 9", 34 waist ,31 inside leg and bought small size.

Surprisingly good as a windproof mid layer - not like flimsy tights which most base layers seem to be. A generous length leg too - they are OK and my inside leg is 36". A small is good for up to a 32" waist.

Brilliant kit at reasonable prices

I bought the trousers to match the top I'd bought a few weeks ago hoping it would be to the same standard. I wasn't disappointed as the quality was the same very high standard and I'll be ordering the over socks to use in my RST vented boots shortly.

The sizing on the top was way out and I had to get it swapped two sizes down. (No quibble as per usual excellent customer service) I dropped two sizes on my original order for the leggings and they were spot on.

I'm guessing the over-socks will be more accurate with sizing and so will only go one size down?

Overall extremely high quality kit at a very reasonable price, with outstanding customer service.
