Have had loads of Pinlocks for different helmets but for some reason this just causes the visor on my Veloco to jam on the rubber seal. Really annoying!

Replacement Pinlock

The original Pinlock provided with my new AGV helmet was found to be slightly damaged. Sportsbikeshop replaced it free of charge with prompt delivery once they were made aware of the issue. The Pinlock insert certainly does what it says on the tin.

Not sure of fitment

Bought this for my agv GT veloce. Within the first use the visor was fogging just by the eye line sections. I realised that in order for this to fit my visor I had to mount it quite high to get the bottom end to sit on the visor with no gaps. Unfortunately this fitment means every time you open the visor the insert presses against the helmet rubber seal and pushes it down and dislodged the pinlock. It also catches while closing. Either my helmet visor is faulty or this pinlock is not right for my helmet. I have tried adjusting the position... But, if you fit the pinlock any lower to avoid it catching the top rubber then the bottom section does not sit on the visor. (The original pinlock didnt last long either.)

Super protection against sun

Very useful and I am very happy with the visor. I got good vision at night and in daylight it is super against sun.

Works well, but it catches on the visor seal as you open and close the visor, once it is in position visor closed its fine, the fit could be better.

Buying an expensive helmet was a decision not made lightly but what price do you put in your own head? So the need for clear vision was paramount in my purchase, this Pinlock insert was easy to install, and allows me the clarity of sight while racing.

Had to order as a replacement for my previous after washing in water that was too hot and subsequently damaged the seal (my bad!).
