This is my first Arai helmet - Tour X4 - so I purchased the visor for summer use. Fitted and ridden up to Scotland on the first fuse with the new helmet. The vision through the visor is excellent and the fit and quality is second to none. I was slightly worried that the shape of the visor may affect my vision as a glasses wearer but in reality there has been no need for concern - perfect vision. Excellent service from SBS as always.

Its an Arai visor on an Arai lid so the fit and functionality is brilliant.
Its dark enough to reduce the bright spring glare here on the East coast and improves the overall appearance of the lid.
Yes its an art to change the visor and not 5 mins by the roadside as you need tools and screws. Awesome service from SBS packaging the visor in with the lid, saved two separate parcels. The pinlock in the box is very nice touch.

Pain in the rear to change

Great service from SBS as always, but the visor system on the Arai Tour X-4 makes changing the visor a bit fiddly as you have to remove screws and the peak to change it, certainly not as quick and easy as my Chaser V used to be.

I can only agree with the remarks in the other reviews, I look forward to using it on sunny days after Lockdown ends, It enhances the look of the helmet and is not so dark that you can't see through it in poor light conditions. Great price and service from the Sportsbike shop as ever.
