AGV Internal Sun Visor - GT2

A bit of a fiddle to fit, i went for the dark smoked one which was a bit darker than the standard one, i could have done with a darker one for my Gran Canaria tour.

Darker than the visor supplied so makes the helmet more usable on bright sunny days and can be easily flicked out of the way when light fades. Only down side, fiddly to install.

Better than the original a bit fiddly to fit and overpriced hence 4 stars.

Does what it says on the tin and works very well and blocks bright sun light.
And easy to fit in to agv k5 horizan full face helmet.

The issue I always had with my AGV K5 lid was the stock internal sun visor was rubbish at blocking sunlight, but this has made things so much better. No I don't have to cook with the tinted visor down when riding through town. Slightly pricey but I'd say it's worth it. And as always excellent service from Sportsbikeshop.

A tad expensive I feel for a piece of plastic but essential for my AGV Compact flip lid. I like to ride the A roads with the lid up and the sun visor is good for protecting your eyes.

As other reviewers have said, it is a bit of a faff to fit, it needs to click into the holders precisely otherwise it doesn't open and retract properly. Took me a couple of goes at carefully fitting and removing and refitting again.

Darker than factory one, which is good. A nightmare to install, even when everything clicks in, somehow it gets stuck and can let it down or bring it up, after some small modifications and longer fight it works, but it is stiff to bring up / down. Hope my AGV lever won't break.

This visor has the perfect hue to drive in sunny weather without being dazzled. Like a pair of sunglasses ...
The one that is delivered in the original is too little smoke.

Fits better than the one that came with the helmet. It goes right up into the helmet and stays there when you don't need it.

The original ISV on the K3 is a fairly light tint so pretty hopeless with the low autumn sun so I bought the silver iridium replacement. The quality is great and the changing of visors is straight forward (but fiddly and does require a good 'push' to bed it in correctly) and no problems with fit. Whether the iridium is darker than the dark smoke I don't know but it can almost be too dark when making haste and riding into the shade but i found removing the Pinlock seemed to help a bit. I am becoming a fan of ISV's though, I don't do big miles now but boy how I'd have loved them back in my commuting days!

Bought the visor as a way to reduce the blinding low sun that occurs from autumn into winter. It's an ideal piece of kit as it can be easily flicked up into the lid when it's dark or misty, unlike dark visors which on the helmet permanently and have to be left open when riding at night.
I bought a blue one, to match the colour of my bike, and it looks fantastic.
