Givi XS315 Under Rack Bag - BMW R1200 GS

Bought this to store bits and bobs on the bike like disc lock and puncture repair kit, when it arrived first impression was how small the bags were, but quality wise looked good, fitted them on the bike and I can fit the disc locks and puncture repair kit in, and seems to fit the bike quite securely with very little flapping about which I thought would damage and scuff the body work, so yes happy with them, apart from the logo it just says TOOL BAG but on the advert pictures has 1200 GS. must be a new design so it can fit other bikes.

On the small side, but I think thats on purpose so that they fit neatly in between the racks. Would be better And fit more in with the Vario racks as I have added the GSA rack to my GS and it squashes the middle bag a bit. But I can fit all my tools in the side bags and thats what I bought it for to free up space in my tank bag.

I was hoping to get my puncture repair kit (at least) in one of the pouches. The pouches are just too small to get many tools in. They are thin and narrow. Not a surprise at the tail light but the side pouches will hold a pair of pliers, insulating tape and a cloth. My torque set and puncture repair kit are still in the top box. There's also no way to padlock the zips together and the kit is only secured to the rack by velcro which I've found tricky to secure to the bike. I've used cable ties but it will be easy to steal.

It fits just as it should....Appears to be well made and a good use of the rack area , nice and easy to fit and perfect for carrying some over trousers (bit of a squeeze), Puncture repair outfit, disc lock and Sat Nav or protector which ever one isn't in use at the time keeping all those odd bit out of pockets..
