As these are denim they look great. Very comfortable and are good in a variety of conditions. I'm 6'3" with a 33-34 in waist. I got a large long. I maybe could've got away with medium long but the size up means I can have layers on under them.
I'd say anything below about 12°C and these will become too cool but I've been wearing them in over 30 and only got too hot at a standstill.
Love the jeans for how heavy duty they feel. Visually can pass for a normal pair, but they rustle a bit while walking.
Marking 1 star down due to the knee armour pockets - I have a 34" inseam, and the pockets sit too low on the knee, have to fiddle them while seated on the bike, and the armour is a bit stiff, so swapped out for some that came with some Bull-It jeans.
Buy the size you normally wear, they're sized well. Don't go a size up or they'll fall off you (I made this mistake, but SBS swapped them free of charge).
These sadly aren't a solution for commuting in the rain. Felt dry-ish after a 15 minute ride in torrential rain but soaked through over the next hour while sat in the office. I'll be going back to waterproof overs with normal riding jeans for the days when the forecast is horrible.
Happy enough to have them for one to two hour rides that might get wet and I'll be able to change at the end of them.
Heavy and very warm off the bike and fits well but a little stiff to pass for normal jeans also rustles as you walk. On the bike could do with coming slightly higher up the small of your back and have a bit of wind proofing on the inner thighs.
Bought a pair like these before and still use them and love them. They're so good I bought this pair and they definitely feel like they are protecting you and they are comfortable to wear. The armour could be softer like the D30 sets but over all a superb set of jeans, will definitely recommend.
Excellent delivery. The jeans are very well made and size is the size you order, no need to buy larger.
No one will tell that you're wearing motorbike jeans. They are waterproof and surprisingly warm, which does make you a bit sweaty sometimes but brilliant quality and look.
High quality looking denim with a really good fit. Good knee armour for the unexpected. Ideal for summer riding with the bonus of being waterproof for sudden downpours. I actually bought these for motorcycle adventures in Asia.
I love the idea of waterproof jeans because I like the styling of jeans rather than bulkier motorcycle specific trousers. Unfortunately the sizing was way off on these for me with the jeans being very wide and baggy at the waist. The inside is like some sort tough plastic material which is very loud when you move so returned as not for me. Service from Sportsbikeshop very good though as always, just think the jeans need bit more work.
They come up big, so I had to go down a size and they fit pefectly now! They are waterproof, I got caught in the rain and everything got soaked apart from my feet and legs. Good material with a knee pad (not solid padding).
Well constructed pair of bottoms which is easily seen in the aesthetics and overall finishing - the lines, belt hooks etc. They also do one thing exceptionally well, which is keep your lower half dry in the rain - tested and passed.
The tradeoffs are:
1. The lack of vent or breathability
2. Waist line is low around the back, leaving bum exposed in riding position. Other things I can live with, overall it is a nice piece well constructed gear. Also, ensure you use the size guide if you're considering owning a pair.
Look good, comfortable after a wash, they do get hot in the sun so use on a colder day. Haven't used them in the rain yet so hopefully they will be fully water proof. On the whole very good.
Not really jeans are they. They look great and are superbly well made but they are thick, heavy and lined, it feels like wearing a pair of waterproofs inside a pair of jeans. The waist is loose and not high enough, so I always have a builder's bum. I have to tuck my t shirt into my underpants (not my favourite look). I can't wear them with the armour, too uncomfortable. Not bad when riding once my legs cool down, but I need to get them off a.s.a.p. Can't walk in them for any more than a couple of minutes. I tried washing them to soften them up, but they are waterproof so they came out the same way they went in. I was a courier in the nineties so I've gone through my fair share of waterproofs and I know what uncomfortable feels like. I always believed that waterproof jeans were the future, not these ones I'm afraid. Another £130 down the drain. Sportsbikeshop still fantastic.
They look great and perform great. The downsides are very sweaty legs in higher temperatures, either from the sun or the engine. The 'adjustable' knee protectors do have 3 levels of adjustment; but they are all too low for my knees.
Overall I would recommend them.
Good fit, I went with a 32/M - Short, works, perfectly sized for me, I've read about other reviewers that have needed to go a size down however.
Jean quality seems very good as well, good stitches all around, very solid all around.
Not tried it in the rain yet, but I've splashed water onto them, they seemed to repel it quite nicely.
Throw a regular t-shirt on, and nobody can possibly tell you've arrived on a motorcycle, very subtle pair of jeans, which I love, biggest downside I've found so far is that they're incredibly warm in 20+ degrees, but that goes for most motorcycle clothing anyway, so it doesn't deserve a worse rating because of that, very happy with them otherwise.
Sum up, I'm very happy with my purchase, well worth the money.
Excellent fit. Rev'it sizes are a bit strange though, I am normally 34waist / 32leg but got these in size M regular length which equates to 32waist / 34leg and they fit perfectly. So look at the Rev'it size chart carefully! Only have them a short while so cant comment on waterproof ability, but they appear to be an excellently made jean and I don't doubt they will keep out the rain. Excellent service from Sportsbikeshop re sizing etc. Posted and delivered quickly..very reasonable postage costs to Ireland also.
The jeans repel water very well. Good fit for my size. Super fast delivery from SBS. They do feel a bit heavy if you never had this type of jeans before.
I purchased these jeans for my son, however they better fitted my husband, who was more realistic with his waist size, lol (the sizing is accurate). They are quality jeans and very smart in appearance. I've since ordered the larger size for my son, who is now eagerly awaiting their arrival.
Having purchased them in the sale, the price was amazing value. They are a lovely fit and according to my OH very comfortable.
Sportsbikeshop has great customer service, and I will be ordering from them again.

From the outside in, the jeans consist of 3 layers: a denim outer shell with a Hydratex 3L pro membrane laminated on the inside, and next to the skin lies a comfortable mesh lining. Questions and Answers
I am interested in buying the Rev'it Memphis H2O Dark Blue jeans. I normally buy Levis 32 waist and 30 inside leg. What size do I get for this Rev'it Memphis?
