Givi E111 Passenger Backrest

Usual Givi quality, does the job perfectly and looks good.

Really easy to fit, does exactly what it says it does. No issues at all. Quality Givi product

Easy to fit to my V56 box as there are two raised rings on the box in exactly the right place. Visually pleasing and my wife reports that it is very comfortable.

Backrest is very good and easy to attach, great quality as expected from a Givi product. If ordering from Ireland as I did, please be advised that Custom charges are not included in the price (unlike most websites) so there is an extra charge of €10 at your front door

East to fit and comfortable

Having successfully used a Givi Maxima 1 top box, with the matching back rest since 1997, it was the obvious thing to add to the new Maxima 4. I wish that I'd seen one before buying and fitting it.
The paper template for drilling the holes and the pre marked drilling holes on the underside of the top box lid disagree as to where the holes should be! The instructions are very brief, are line drawings only and are of little help.
In the end, I had to drill both sets of holes and join them together to form an elongated hole. This allowed a degree of movement to help compensate for the fact that the poorly formed shape of the backrest doesn't really fit the shape of the top box.
When in place, it fails in its primary role of being comfortable as a back rest / it's too small, too hard and is a poor shape. It even looks awful.
I would have sent it back, but it covers two unsightly holes in the lid of my new £200 Givi top box!
It has put a stop to me buying any further Givi accessories without checking them first.

Decent quality and easy to fit

I can only confirm that the paper template is useless, not accurate. The hole mark in the box should be used for loading. The look is quality.

Well made backrest.
This was fitted to my Givi V56 Top box and easy to fit,
makes a huge difference to passenger comfort.

Expensive for what it is. The paper template supplied for the mounting holes was not a good fit for the top box, but got around by aligning to the centre to lid hinge to compensate.

It simply makes the difference between sitting directly on the topcase and on the pillow. 100% recommend!
