Great QR Top Box Plate

I have several bike fitted with their specific GIVI QR plates, so I know the quality of the product. I was not let down when I purchased one for my new to me F650GS (twin)
The plate was easy to install and the Topbox mounts and unmounts perfectly.

Disappointing

Had a new Givi box for my birthday for when I go touring, but of course my plate was a monokey so had to buy a monolock. Gréât fit on bike, and box fits on easily enough. However trying to get the box off is a nightmare. After several attempts took bike to local mechanic who spent a long time trying to get the box off. It is very very difficult to remove. Very disappointed with the system. I thought paying £100 for plate it would be easy, how wrong was I!

Perfect Plate

Easy to install adapter plate for the Givi monokey series topbox. Just had a tour around the NC500 in Scotland and had the confident in everything being secure with a fully laiden bike. The plate has convenient holes in the side that can be used by bungee hooks to strap luggage down. Nice light but strong aluminium construction which looks good on the bike when not in use. Recommended !

Easy install!

Super easy to install - just four bolts using an Allan key... not if you already have the BMW rack fitted you will need a torx screw driver to remove the OEM one... very simple to do - whole thing was done in under 5 minutes.
I also bought a rack that wasn't the right fit for my year of bike and SBS gave me a full refund within a few days (that includes shipping of the order back to SBS too)!! Always great service from these folks.

All parts included. Quick to fit. I'm surprised that the rear block that the top box clicks into, seems to be fixed to the plate with some sort of plastic rivet. The block is metal so I don't understand why Givi have not used metal bolts/screws to attach it. Time will tell how durable it is.

Bought it for my BMW F 800GS Adventure 2017 model to hold Givi trekker outback box.
Its very well made and looks good on the bike as well as doing the job of holding the removable topbox on.
Its not cheap but its the right part for the job.
