Both of the cases that you have mentioned use the Monolock fitment, and so the SR6401 is not suitable (it is a Monokey fitment)You require a Monokey top box, such as the 40 litre V40N.

Having just purchased the Trekker 52lt TRK52N, can you please advise if this is the correct base plate for the top box ?

Usual GIVI quality bit of kit when fitted, however that is not a straightforward excercise, including drilling holes in the rear panel..but with patience it fits and does the job and works.

Fitted to my 2018 Tiger 800 XRX. Its correct that Givi don't supply a template for drilling the holes in the plastic cover, but don't let that put you off. If you can clean and adjust your chain you can fit this. It is easy. Great quality from Givi, the usual exceptional price and service from Sportsbikeshop.

Worth the work

When it's on it's great, but unusually for Givi fitting isn't straightforward.
Holes needed in the Triumph luggage plate need drilling and there's precious little guidance to get the in the right places. Had to insert bolts into the fittings and use a blob of paint on their tops to use as a marker for where to drill - offer the plate to the fittings, and the paint marks the underside of the plate. Hey presto!
(This makes sense when you do it ????).
Final fittings didn't align with the holes in the Givi plate either, so it was out with the drill again to extend the mounting holes.
Maybe I'm ham fisted? Maybe I did something wrong??
Now it's on its great tho!!

Great Product

A great price from Sportsbike Shop and the usual great service. Fitting is straightforward though you do need to drill four holes in the standard plastic cover (which has pre-marked guide centers on the underside making it straightforward). The instructions are okay (Ozarks Backroads has a good fitting video on YouTube) and once mounted up it is very solid and secure. One point to note, if you have the Adventure pannier mounts (the square plastic panniers) you will need two extra 10cm M8 bolts as the standard bolts are longer than the 'extended bolts' supplied in the fitting kit and are too short to fit the supplied spacers. I ordered some off Amazon for a couple of quid but you only find out once you are part way through fitting the mounting plate.

Not easy to fit

This was installed to a 2019 Tiger 800. With the rack for the side panniers already installed the side fixing bolts supplied where not long enough so had to buy some to fit. Not easy to judge where to drill the holes in the Triumph plastic cover but with patience it can be done. Once installed I'm happy with it just a shame it's not straight forward to fit (and I'm ex motor trade!)

No surprises here - poor fitting instructions (not in English) and Fiddly to install on the Tiger 800 but not impossible. Does the job. Givi's pricing policy on these is a little ridiculous. Would be better if they were a little more realistic which would make Givi clients feel a little less ripped off, having made their substantial investment in the Givi Luggage of choice. That said, Sportsbike's proces are very competitive as ever and the sevice is second to none.

Not the easiest adaptor plate to fit

I did find it a little bit challenging to fit it, but my main frustration came when I realised that the holes I had drilled weren't where they supposed to be, even though, I made sure they were as close as possible to the ones shown on the template that came with the support. I must admit that now with the top box on you cannot see the extra holes I had to drill, and the support itself looks pretty good on my bike, as well as very solid. Also, I had no problems with the bolts and nuts, and it took no more than 2 hours to fit it.
PS: you will need a 17 mm drillbit. I used a drillbit for wood and it did a great job, just drilled the holes slightly off unfortunately.

Fiddly to fit

This is a good product only let down by the instructions Givi supply. As a previous reviewer mentioned, it would be too easy to supply an A4 sheet with the holes marked out. That way, lay it on the plastic bike carrier and the mark where the holes are. Top box fitted on and now I can leave my helmet on the bike when I park up. Panniers next.....

Solid product - fiddly to fit

As others have said this takes patience to fit. The design requires the fittings already on the bike to be lined up with new 17mm holes you have to drill in the plastic. Didn't have a 17mm drill & the spacers only needed 16mm, however the extra space was needed when fitting to allow for error. Took a couple of hours to interpret the poor instructions and fit properly but is solid as a rock and I'm delighted with it. Looks great when the top box is off, and holds it great as you'd expect. As always really quick delivery from Sportsbikeshop. Would recommend.

Bolts and spacers incorrect size. Necessitated 2 separate trips to a hardware store to buy the right bits. Extremely annoying especially as I've fitted these before to other bikes.

Frustration

Instructions were not clear, initial part supplied bolts were not long enough requiring a shopping trip.
The 17mm hole points were not marked on the Triumph plastic cover requiring a homemade cardboard template.
Finally the final stage of applying the Monokey baseplate required a lot of jiggling to fit.
Fitting time quite a few hours.
