Kriega R15 - Just the right size

I used to have a Kriega R30 but since I now have a bike with panniers it was too big - the R15 is just the right size for waterproofs on a day out - or as l found over the last couple of days for a few bits and pieces for the 6 hour ferry to France. Got caught in sporadic downpours on the 100 mile journey home and stuff inside stayed dry. Service from SBS was spot on as usual ?

Kriega R15 Quality Kit

I've had an R15 for 10 years. Just bought another as a birthday present for my brother.
Really tough kit. Used for commuting, days out with the TRF etc. mine has had a hard life, but is still as good as new.
Really comfortable to wear. Good size for butties, waterproofs, laptop etc.
SBS had stock and I collected the new one in 15 mins. Just the job!

The R15 is what I bought my best friend for her Christmas so she's leaving the review:
Hey, I'm not being biased I've got the R35, 3xR25, R15, R11, R3, Trail 9, Sling, Hydro 2, Hydro 3, US5, Stash wallet, tablet case, cube, xl pocket, pocket the reason I've got all of these bags is because you get what you pay for. Kriega are in a league of their own. Yes we can all praise a bag when everything is good but what about when there is an issue? This is my second R15 because the first one I had the stitching started to come away from the left strap, I contacted Kriega and they informed me that I'm covered by the guarantee and please contact SBS. SBS dealt with it and within days I had a new bag delivered. In all the 10 years of owning Kriegas this is my first ever issue. Now to the bag, it's lightweight and sits nice on the back, it clips at the front not pushing against the chest when full, the weight is distributed across other areas. You can move your arm areas more freely due the design. There is a zipped compartment at the top inside and a back piece too. A key ring holder and also not a lot of people know this but a Velcro strap which you can attach the water reservoir too. The bag expands so you can get more sh!t in there so if I do win the £100 cash I'd be lying if I said I wouldn't buy another Kriega bag FORGET CHANEL DARLING this is KRIEGA!!

Top notch from kriega again

This is my third kriega bag and cannot fault it just fits in what I need to travel to work and with the harness system on it you don't even know it's there. Excellent bit of kit would recommend even though it is pricey it will last well like my 30 litre bag has which is 5years old used every day. SPORTSBIKESHOP superb as usual got next day service.

Decent backpack

The backpack is good, although Im pretty sure they've changed the bag slightly. As owned an R15 a few years ago and back plate was hard and curved to sit comfortably on your back where now it's soft and flexible. Still comfortable but makes you think where else have they changed (cheaper materials maybe?) but does what it's meant for. I feel the clips and straps on the side of the back are pointless as all they do is get in the way for the main zip so have to keep unclipping to put something in. I will probably end up removing them once I've had the back a while.
