If you read the instructions carefully fitting is not that difficult. It did take a while though. but seems very solid now fitted.

Hard to Mount

If you are goint to mount these by yourself, get ready for a bad day! I dont know if it was just bad luck for me, with the set I got, or if the mounts are realy poorly made. I have seen similar complaints about this so, I guess its just not me... The mounting holes in the brackets are not aligned with the mounting points on the bike. You have to start in one end and then force the brackets into position so that you are able to squeze in the bolts. In adition the bolts have allen key holes with a round head, wich really make the mount on my bike (FZ6 S2 Fazer) really, really dificullt. I just could not insert a tool to tighten the screw that secure the round brackets under the exaust. Its just an impossible task! You need to force the exaust up to tighten the bolt. If this was a normal 6 faced head bolt, it would be a lot easier. Givi needs to adapt the bolts acording to the bike. In this case, one type bolts DO NOT fit all bikes! Very disapointed in this point Givi! However, after some hours of sweeting and pain, and If you manage to successfully mount everything, the brackets fill pretty solid, and pratically go unnoticed in the bike. The final looks of the brackets mounted on the bike were actually better that I was expecting :) . So, Givi, please make the mouting sets in a more precise way. The set I got was not worthy product of a prestigious brand like Givi.

Not an easy fit. The holes just didn't quite line up and meant that it was a challenge to apply to the bike. When fitting the plastic plate to the arms the wrestling match began again, same problem, the holes just didn't quite line up. Ah well, it is on with plenty of tension. Looks OK on bike, top box went straight on and it looks straight. Looking forward to taking on a test ride...
