Givi 259FZ Monorack Arms - Honda CB1300 / S

The design and fitting of Givi kit is generally very good, unfortunately, the rack "arms" were packaged in the same single wrapping and with no protection between them, there were several scratches and marks on each of the arms where they had obviously rubbed against each other. I would have returned them but I needed to get a top box fitted to my bike, plus I thought any replacements were likely to be packed in the same manner and would probably be as bad, possibly worse than the ones already received. I have covered the scratches with satin hammerite paint, which whilst it is not a perfect repair, it is better than bare metal on display. Givi really need to take more care packaging their goods.

The product is good. Easy and quick to install. I have an older styled Givi Box & plate. Which only fixes to 2 of the 4 bolt holes on the arms. I would recommend getting the newer base plate if you have an older V46 Top box.

Purchasing was easy and straight forward as it always is on SBS website. The price was the best by far and I also used a voucher from a previous purchase which made it cheaper.

The delivery could of been better. I clearly stated that the item was to be left in a designated place if I wasn't home, but the driver didn't follow the instruction and so I had to wait 3 days to get it redelivered. To be fair, the guys at SBS did try to get the driver to redeliver the item the same day.

It was packaged really well and everything was in it as it should.

Overall the product is excellent, however if the driver read the instructions I would of given an excellent rating.

Would I use SBS again?
Well my wish list continues to grow and I will most definitely use again.
