Don't tighten anything until the very end

Sportsbikeshop service and speed of delivery was phenomenal. Purchased the 256FZ along with the PL256 & M5. By itself, the 256FZ looks easy, and you think to yourself, "I can do this! The sun is shining, the birds are singing!" Poor fool. When connected to the PL256 and M5, it will test your faith in God and your place in His universe. Don't tighten anything until the very end! Otherwise, you will rue the day, and find yourself retracing your steps to the very beginning. Love the Italians' beautiful and functional design; their installation instructions - not so much, nor how everything only *almost* fits together... Pulled out what little remains of my hair, over the course of 2 days. Finally got everything in, but not before eloquently describing the manufacturers' parentage in many languages (including Italian just in case that would help speed the process...) Love it though. Can't stop looking at it. Very minimalist design. Without the boxes, you can hardly tell the racks are there. Best buy so far this year!

Thanks to Givi's attention to detail, these cases are designed to fit the motorcycle properly and are the solution to all needs for all customers. They are a technological point of reference for a complete and satisfying riding experience, made to guarantee ease of use thanks to the fitting system of the plate which uses a single key. Givi has patented the two most famous locking systems in the world; the Monokey and Monolock systems.
The Monokey series is Givi's the top of the range locking system which are typically has a more substantial mount with more features and higher quality construction. Monolock cases are generally lighter cases with a smaller mount; they are of a more lightweight construction, which makes them ideal for scooter and smaller motorcycle applications. Monolock and Monokey cases attach differently to their top plates, Monokey cases are interchangeable and can be used as a top case and/or side cases. Monolock cases are designed to be used as top cases only; they cannot be used as side cases due to their more lightweight construction and mount.
