This is my third Givi rack (different bikes) and I can say that the quality of Givi parts are not very good in general. Holes look like they've been cut out by a dog with jagged edges etc so you have to force bolts into their position… making fitting a bit of a pain if you're doing it alone. A tip is to tape the bottom nut in the arm into place so it doesn't move when you put the plate adapters on and blindly have to slide the bolt down.
But considering the alternative is a rather expensive Shad, it's the only real option.
It looks good on the bike and holds a top box, so it does the job.

The fit and finish is great, goes so well on my super blackbird where luggage lists are rare.

could you please tell me what part i need to fit the rack
March 24, 2023This should be fitted directly to the bike, and you will then need the M3 Monokey Plate, or the MM Monolock plate, depending on whether your case is Monokey or Monolock.
