This is a great bit of kit! Great quality. Easy to fit. Bought with the fixing kit for a VFR 1200 and the mono key fixing plate. Looks great to in black and silver to go with my grey Honda panniers. Fits my shoei lid and wet weather gear and locks and other bits and bobs. Unlock then press a button, pop it off and neat carry handle.

Lots of space and nice design

Bought it for 1k miles journey through Cornwall. There is enough space inside for two helmets with intercoms. Smooth closure, opening and removal. There is a space to install dedicated stop light which for sure increase visibility but I haven't test it yet. Thought to use it only for longer rides but it doesn't feel heavy and don't obstruct the view in the mirrors so I still keep it on the bike. The only thing to bear in mind is that closing is possible without key use so think twice before closing the lid to be sure keys are outside. I have bought it recently but it seems sturdy and durable with nice design.

We have used Givi top boxes before this is the best one so far. The locking mechanism is better and easier to use and it looks very contemporary. We are very pleased with it so far.

Superb quality item as always from Givi. It was a pig to fit because of an old box's electrical connector. As I was not going to wire up the new box for lights I removed the offending item and it just clicked into place. The staff tried all ways to get it to fit even trying different boxes. Cannot praise them enough for their efforts. Just the loan of a couple of tools and job done. Looks great on the bike and can fit all I need to put in it. A great buy,

I have been using Givi products for many years. My mates pull my leg about top boxes as I have a few so I consider myself a top box guru. However this V47 trumps the old ones by a mile. It looks so much more contemporary and the locking mechanism is much easier to use.
I would fully recommend it and buying from Sportsbikeshop as they are so easy to deal with. Very pleased!

This is a very good top box. Its very secure so don't accidentally lock your keys in it, like i did. The silver panel is removable so you can spray it to match the colour if your bike. You can also buy the lighting kit to fit. Would highly recommend it to anyone that want a large top box.

Hi will this top case fit my 2017 Suzuki sv650a Motorcycle or do I need any adapter plates, thanks.
June 7, 2019You will need the 3111FZ rear rack, and then the M5 or M7 Monokey top plate.
I have a triumph explorer 1215 17 plate with a sliding carriage, will this box fit? or do I need to buy another plate?
March 26, 2019The Givi box won't fit unfortunately. You will need to fit either Givi part SR6403 or SRA6403. SRA6403 has a maximum permissible load of 6kg, and does not allow the assembly of the stop light kit or the remote control device on the top-case.
