Looks good, quite big. But is hard to close, need to put my whole weight done on it until it clicks. But it is incredibly useful and looks decent. It's good quality and has two keys.
Glad I didn't pay full price and got a great discount though as it seems to be quite pricey for what is essentially a big plastic box.

As always Sportsbikeshop were quick with delivery for all the items. Great top box very spacious and easy to use. The locking mechanism is also easy but very effective. I have now used it in a downpour and everything stayed dry.

Great top box with the quality you expect from GIVI. Only thing I'm not too fussed on is you can close lid and lock your keys inside as the lid locks when you close it.
I wanted a box I could take on and off but to get the box on I had to use a lot of effort and all my weight to the point I thought I would cause damage. To get the catch to work needed 100kg of downward pressure, it shouldn't be that hard. I mounted it on a r1200rs specific bracket.
This is my second Givi 47 litre Monokey top box. Very strong, loads of space, without being too visible in your mirrors and has a good shape to it.
Excellent value for money fits easily and securely onto rack
Great top box. Secure fit to base plate. Nice option of brake light set. Needs a bit of force to lock but is becoming easier with use, new seals are bedding in nicely. Fully waterproof even in the heaviest rainfall. Looks great on my kawasaki z1000sx.
Good quality sturdy box which fits two full face helmets snugly. I was worried it might look too big on the bike going by measurements, but it looks fine and a nice looking box. My only criticism is it is a bit tight to close lip and snap fit it to the base plate. Obviously it is brand new and will be easier in time once used a bit and wears in.
Have had this top box before (47l ) but sold it with the bike. No hesitation in purchasing another vivo 47l for the new bike. Easy to fit with vivo plate and top quality materials used .My new bike is a Suzuki v strom 1050
Bike is a black and white model so chose the case with the silver reflectors which in my opinion looks great on the bike
The case is good, seems good quality and works well.
But the lock is rubbish. Firstly it is possible to lock the key in the box. Secondly it is impossible to close the box without locking it. And thirdly, in its first outing in the rain it seized up and I had to buy some wd40 to free it.
Great box that fits two helmets or plenty of storage for touring.
Only negative for me is that it's not easy to close and often takes two hands.

Great looking carbon effect box, easy fit onto the mount I have, mine was a Monokey trecker plate. Had a couple of runs out now and wet and dry seems to do the job I bought it to do - carry my gear and keep it dry!!

Monolock cases are generally lighter with a smaller mount; they are of a more lightweight construction, which make them ideal for scooter and smaller motorcycle applications. Monolock and Monokey cases attach differently to their top plates, Monokey cases are interchangeable and can be used as a top case and/or side cases. Monolock cases are designed to be used as top cases only; they cannot be used as side cases due to their more lightweight construction and mount.

August 22, 2018Givi list the SR3112 rear rack for the 2016-2018 650 V-Strom. This will need to be combined with either the M5 or M7 Monokey top plate. The SRA3112 aluminium rear rack will also fit, but is only rated for a maximum weight of 6KG. The SR3112 is £54.25, and the M5 top plate is £33.98. The SRA3112 is £125.00.

January 5, 2018Unfortunately Givi do not list a rack to fit a Monokey top case to your CBR125 - they only list the SR1103, which is only suitable for a Monolock top case. A Givi E470NT Monolock Top Case - 47 Litre would be suitable.

July 14, 2016To fit this to a 2013-2015 Forza 300 you will also need the Monorack arms SR1123 - the Monokey plate is included with the arms.
