Shoei CWR-1 Race Visor - Not Road Legal

When I first saw the price of the visors, I was shocked. But when the visor arrived early the next day, You could see and feel the quality of it, I got the blue mirrored one. It looks amazing on my matt black lid. I was out early Sunday morning, whilst the sun was still quite low in the sky. Without any issues from the glare.

Another quality product from Shoei, but please be aware that this visor requires a different pin lock insert to the standard clear visor. Pin lock DKS 301 Is for the tinted and Pin lock DKS 303 is for the standard clear visor. Both pin lock inserts mount each visor perfectly with zero gaps. It's no wonder the majority of the professional racers all use Shoei!!

As everyone's already said, this is amazing quality, easiest visor to change I've ever used and looks really good with my Aerodyne TC2 graphic lid.

Great visor. Perfect and easy to fit.

The tint is good the pinlock fits in and does its job.
The thing that drops it done from excellent to good is you need a different pinlock to the one that's for the clear visor. ok not a big problem just a little annoying. I wasn't impressed with the finish on the visor. Apparently the way the visors are made causes the finish on the top and bottom edge of the visor to be marked it's only a small section but still I was expecting better than that.

Shoei visors really are the easiest to fit and change. Excellent quality and looks great in silver

I was looking for a coloured visor to match my new Shoei lid. Was allowed to try on all of the colours they had in store against my new helmet to find the one that suited the colour scheme best.
Eventually chose the spectra rainbow, it's a beautiful finish and quality as you'd expect from Shoei.
Changes shade from gold, orange, red, green and blue depending on the angle you look at the visor on the helmet.
Really fantastic how it's been made, looks awesome on the helmet too!

I've got the lighter version of this visor which is good but still left me squinting a bit on those low sun times. Not a problem with this, makes it much easier to see in the day light. It looks really good, my pinlock transferred over with no problem and it's still easy to see out of in reasonably low light conditions. Love it!

Construction is very good, not much middle flex of Shoei of old.
Fitment on to the locking mech needed a bit more checking and pressure but no slack or wobbles.

The tint is medium which is nice, so its good for the daytime even in overcast or possibly 3 seasons use.

The only slight problem ive find out is annoying wind whistle by the top of the visor heard over the engine and through ear plugs. The only difference between this and my old clear one that had a pinlock .
Ive tried changing the basic settings of the visor position, its stock settings that wasnt a problem for the old one but this was loud. Even adjusted its better but still there, i might just have to try a pinlock on it first before go into the faff of base plate adjustment.

Love my dark smoke visor, got the pinkock aswell. The pinlock supplied with the shoei helmet didn't fit so bare that in mind.

Fits perfectly w no fuss, seals to the helmet and everything... Maybe even better than the factory clear screen. No more sun kissed skin around my nose and eyes from being out all day during the summer. I was afraid that vision would not be as good, turns out that it's even crisper w/o the sun's glare. Perfect

Recently brought an nxr bone dome.
Dark tint purchased at the same time.
It's a visor, fits perfectly, no adjustment required between clear and tint. For me is awesome, seals perfectly against the helmet seal. I'd recommend this all day long.
