I already had a 30 litre Givi top box but I realised I needed more capacity. This box will accomodate two full face helmets. This allows me to hide my helmet, gloves and necessary riding equipment when I have to leave the leave the bike. I have experience of these Givi boxes and have been very happy with their quality. They come with all fittings and are really easy to install. The universal fixing plate allows swapping of my two boxes. To sum up: sturdy construction, easy to fit, practical, good looking and well priced. I would recommend these Givi top boxes. Good service from Sportbikeshop as usual.
Although it's supposed to be the budget range the quality is really good. Came complete with the universal mounting plate which will adapt to most rear racks. It does what it says on the tin. Mounts smoothly, opens and closes without hassle and plenty of room in it. It's mounted on my Triumph Street Scrambler. I was concerned that it might look too big but due to the shape of the box it certainly doesn't look out of place. Sportsbikeshop ordering and delivery their usual slickness :)
Great box for light weight bikes. Sits well on dad's 350 meteor Royal enfield.
Ordered online and arrived as promised early the next day. I needed a bigger top-box so this fitted the bill completely. Thankyou
Exactly what I needed. Great product and fantastic service as usual.
Seems good enough to me. Im not a top box expert. I've only ever had one other top box and that was a smaller Givi.
Bought the E470N to go on the wife's Honda CB500X. I got the bike specific fitting kit to go with it. The kit was a doddle to fit. I just fitted it all loose until all bolts were in, then went round and tightened them all up. Really easy, and only took about 30 minutes. The box is big enough to fit two full-face helmets in. We wanted it because we go touring, and wife can just-about fit all of her makeup, brushes, hair dryer, potato-ricer and kitchen sink into the top box, which saves me carrying it on my bike. The locking mechanism is plenty sturdy enough and the red reflectors match the colour scheme of her bike, as well as being functional. Very happy with it.
I'm a motorcycle courier and this box is more or less the largest I can get, it's very well made. I've now got 3 of these boxes, one for each bike. I didn't use the mounting plate that was supplied because I'm using the proper base plate with the Givi racks. My only issue with any Givi box is the poorly made keys witch are brittle. The best feature is the reflective panels which means you can be seen,
Sturdy and well made. It takes 2 full face crash helmets which I find really useful. If comes with a universal rack that I didn't need but some may find it useful. Great service and a great price from sports bike shop. Will definitely recommend them.
Mounting plate a bit of a faff to fit as is getting the box to lock onto the plate but this should ease with use. I've used Givi products in the past and they always been good. Originally I ordered a Givi carrier from a dealer to mount to my Royal Enfield Interceptor 650 but the mounting holes would not align with the Interceptors fixing points so was returned and another make of carrier fitted. The dealer reported back that they had sold plenty of the Givi carriers for the Interceptor and had no reported problems, however when they got my carrier back they tried to fit it to their Interceptor they had the same problem. My carrier was, I understand, part of a new batch received from Givi and all of which were also faulty when checked.
This top box like others in the range are made from a softer and lighter compound which means they are that much more flexible than the older boxes which crack and fall apart. I am a motorcycle courier and I've been using Givi boxes for years and I find these newer boxes far better than the older ones. The lock is more in plain sight than the older boxes. One great feature is the reflection panels which make you visible and makes the bike look good at the same time. My only critic is that the box comes with a universal base plate which in many cases are useless. I feel that Givi should sell the boxes with an option of base plate. Price wise, it's a lot of money for a top box but worth every penny, thankfully buying from this website saved me a bundle because the price from other places are just insane.
I bought this top box because the universal plate was included in the price, but it didn't fit my bike. I had to spend another £58 on an adapter plate. Good product, but warn buyers they might need to spend more money for the plate!

Hi I am looking at purchasing this topbox for my 2014 kawasaki versys 650 it already has givi pannier rack fitted, could you please advise which plate and mounting rails i would need. Regards Andy
March 8, 2023Your model bike will require the 451FZ rear rack, which can be found on quick find 206739. This will also need to be combined with one of either the M5M or M6M Monolock Top plates to allow fitment of this case.
