Verified Customer Reviews for Oxford Oximiser 3X
Customers rave about the Oxford Oximiser 3X, praising its ease of use and effectiveness in maintaining bike batteries, even reviving flat ones. The digital display and included features like the permanent connector are highly appreciated. However, multiple customers noted that the charger leads are too short, with a recommendation for an extension cable. Some mentioned minor issues, like connector quality, but the overall sentiment is highly positive, highlighting its reliability and strong performance.
Works brilliantly
Very easy to use, I trust this product to look after my batteries and save me money, excellent product
Feels robust and is simple to use. I chose it on the basis of Oxford's reputation with battery charger / maintenance systems, and the range of battery care modes it has. One slight quibble - compared to my previous Oxford charger, the mains to unit lead and the unit to battery lead are both quite short when using with the battery in the bike. Nothing an extension lead won't sort though.
Does exactly what you want and easy to use, only downside is the cables are too short as power sockets in garages tend to be high on the wall and the power cable isn't long enough to place the charger on the ground and reach my bike.
I leave my bike(s) plugged in to this optimiser all the time I'm not riding them.
It's also useful for topping up the leisure battery in the caravan, or the car battery.
I had the previous one about 6 years, but I managed to wreck the connecting lead by dragging the side stand over it; and it was never reliable after then.
When it came to choosing the replacement, buying another one was an easy choice to make; just as simple as buying through the always excellent Sportsbikeshop!
This my third one of these now and repeat buying states that I am happy with both the quality and price of the product. Although slightly more expensive that the other models in the range, to me the additional functions are worth it and both of the previous ones are still working perfectly after several years of use.
Will use this in the winter months but tried it for a few days and it does everything it says it does! I like the digital display says what it's doing and I like the wall holder too which is very useful means your charger is not on the garage floor. I would recommend this battery charger/ tender
It is an excellent product, only let down is the connecting pins. They aren't great and don't seem like they'll last the constant pushing and pulling apart.
Got a few of these, work well and monitor battery health
Excellent piece of kit seems well built compared to some other brand chargers & also lower spec chargers in the Oxford range thoroughly recommend anyone looking for a quality charger/ trickle charger to seriously check this product out
Does exactly what it says on the packet!
I bought a new lithium battery for my bike, plugged this into it and before I knew, it was ready to go.
Oxford Oximiser - reputable brand, reliable and efficient. Exactly what you want!
Great delivery as usual for SBS. Came with everything I needed and seems to work perfectly.
First off, Sportbikeshop are the Mutts, great service, pricing and delivery - A1. The Oxford Oximiser 3x is a brilliant bit of kit, its lightweight but feels robust, its packed full of helpful tech to tell you about the condition of your battery and its charging is simplicity itself. It comes with a couple of options for charging including a super simple to attach permanent connector straight onto the bike battery. This terminates in a quick connector to the charger, when not in use has a sturdy rubber cap and cover to protect it while your out riding in the great British weather. The whole thing is pretty intuitive, but the instructions are clear and straightforward. My only gripe really is the length of the power to charger lead - could be longer, particularly if your bike cant get too close to an available socket. This product has to be used inside so a garage or shed, kitchen etc is a must.
I purchased this Oxford battery charger to add to another battery charger that I had purchased previously. I decided to go with a second charger of exactly the same make and model. It keeps things simple when swapping chargers over on my collection of bikes. So I now have a pair of these in constant operation. The charger has several automatically controlled functions that mean that once you attach the charger to the battery, it takes care of the charging procedure autonomously. There is no need to mess about with timers or charge rate settings etc. All you have to do is connect the charger, select "Motorcycle Battery" with the simple one touch setting button and you are good to go! I have both lead acid ( GEL type.) and lithium batteries in my collection of bikes at this takes care of both types of different battery. The tiny frustration with these chargers is that the connector on the "Bike End" of the cable is a bit cheap but it's not enough to lose a star! When I get some more bikes in the collection, I'll be buying another of the same make and model to keep their batteries healthy too.
Had the Oxford Oximiser 3x for 12 months now and it does exactly what I needed it to do. Keeps the battery on my bikes fully charged and you can just leave it alone to take care of the battery maintenance.
The connector plugs could do with being a bit more robust but otherwise a great product.
Does what it says. Have used it on both motorcycle and car. Brilliant piece of kit without costing an arm and a leg.
Several manufacturers offer similar options. Had an optimate 4 and now trying this one. Both work equally well. Both good choices. Price of this and included battery tether cable swayed it.
