Good looking, comfortable & practical

Whilst I've not worn it out of the house, it is well made and fits perfectly ie sizes are accurate.

Two totally different types of same jacket?

I bought this jacket to replace my ten year Held Mistral II jacket which had began to leak. The first jacket I bought before Christmas was faulty the strap to secure the cuff fell off after a couple of months due to poor workmanship. I noticed that the jacket was extremely flimsy compared to my 10 year old jacket which was supposed to be identical. I then tried various jackets but couldn't find any with a wide enough cuff to go over my gloves, so I ordered two more Mistral II jackets. One was large the other was extra large, on opening them it was evident that the XL jacket was made of material 2-3 times thicker & was far better made than the L jacket. I guess that the XL was probably an older stock item which I am thankful for as it is of an identical quality to my 10 year old jacket it has replaced. I am unsure if I would buy another as the price of these jackets has increased by over 20% & the quality appears to very poor on the newer, thinner jackets.

Appears to be well made, is a good fit and on the one occasion used so far it was well waterproof - hopefully it will stay that way.
A longer term review would be more helpful.

Great waterproof over jacket

Bought this for a recent trip to Ireland and it certainly kept out all the rain even after a couple of hours in the saddle. Fits nicely over my RST suit and just ordered the same size as the jacket is quite generous. Could be a little tighter round the cuffs but other than that well worth the purchase. Bought the matching Held trousers as well. Both good quality items made to last.

Good fit, waterproof and hi-viz

Item is a good fit, I wear a Large jacket and the Large fits very well with no need to go up a size. Keeps me perfectly dry and the hi-viz is very good and much needed on wet dull days and nights.

Fits really well over winter or summer jacket. Totally waterproof and you can really be seen even with wearing a ruck sack. Perfect in my opinion. Cheers
