Drift HD Ghost External Microphone

Very pleased with this Drift HD Ghost External Microphone .Use it with my Ghost X camera and no wind noise and very clear playback Would recommend if you want to get rid of the wind noise from your Ghost X

Found this microphone stop all the wind noise on my motorcycle. Also very clear. Would recommend this for the Drift Ghost X camera

The product is neat compact design a well made microphone . On connecting to the camera the male connection has a good solid feel once attached. The microphone has a good length of cable as well enabling easy routing when installing in a motorcycle helmet.
All in all the microphone is perfect for any audio use with the addition of the small clip that can be used to attach the microphone to clothing.
I would definitely recommend this product.

i have seen different reviews on youtube and some say this product is awful, well i dont know what kind of specialist sound system they are looking for? I do know that when i am riding my Blackbird (nearly said Bird) could have landed in trouble there, the sound is perfect behind my visor and inside my lid. So just to reafirm, when i am riding my Honda Blackbird 1100cc within the speed limit, i can find no issues whatsoever, in fact i think you will be pleased as i was, worth the money with enough lead to tie my bird up too if wanted.

This is a replacement as the last one failed within a few days with no audio being recorded to the camera.

The quality of construction is superior to other cheaper devices so you would think it would be more robust.

It is my third. The original lasted for about a year and died whilst I was abroad and needed it most.

Anyway, had this one for a week and so far still working.

Quality of recording is far better than other cheap versions, reliability has not been great though.

I would still recommend the DRIFT external Mic

Cut out engine noise to a minimum. Ideal for you tube videos.

Great mic, you get what you pay for.

This isn't a BBC outside broadcast quality mic, it doesn't need to be.
It's functional.
I already have one in one helmet that came with the camera and thought I'd save a few bob by getting a cheap eBay number for my second helmet. Unfortunately the cheap one just buzzes all the time so had to suck it up and get a second proper one. Much better.

After owning the Action Cam for a year got annoyed with only getting wind noise on videos so bought the mic. Works brilliantly, clear audio, not too expensive and got delivered within days of ordering.

After using the camera without this and the wind noise as expected it was loud. But once this mic was plugged in instant silence and it picks up your voice perfectly. Well worth the money you wont be disappointed.

Works fine with the Drift ghost. Just a pity my helmet is so noisy! Even with the Drift sensitivity on minimum, I get wind noise. OK at slow speed though!

Good quality mic, great for recording bike chit-chat with low background/wind noise...

Well made, although the black microphone fluffy bit comes off to easily. Apart from that, excellent. No wind noise if positioned right, I would recommend!
