Drift Adhesive Mount Kit

The set on my 1st helmet was fix and forget, so bought a second set to replace the go-pro mount on my 2nd helmet.
I found this mount wouldn't fit on the same spot as the go-pro as it has a bigger foot print and the helmet is sculpted too much.
So I had to compromise and fit it near the top of this helmet but as the Drift and mount can be turned to give the right angle its not a problem. No fear of it coming off anyway!

These adhesive items do a very good job, however I found the camera mount itself not to be as good. When I tried to remove camera and original fixing from it's mount the squeeze tag broke off. Now this worked the right way to save the camera as it's locked in the mount and I had a job to get it out. Now the original mount works fine, I needed a new camera fixing but have to purchase extra mounts that I don't need. If you clean the surface well the mount won't move,the flexing lugs on the camera mount they give up after awhile but at least not on the wrong side so you won't loose the camera. Drift could just supply the camera fixing piece though.

I needed to replace the adhesive camera mounts because I changed bikes. The sheer strength of the sticky mounts means that you cannot re mount them without damaging the mount. This is a good thing because the last thing I want is the camera and mount to go flying down the road due to an inferior adhesive mount. Buy with confidence cos they really are very good indeed.
