Doesn't fit ktm 1290sdr
22 March 2021 by Simon
Reasonably well made, seems fairy sturdy.
No fitment guide other than "fits most sports bikes" inevitably doesn't fit mine!
Can't send it back because it's been opened! No sure how I was meant to use it without opening?
Stuck with stand that is no good without modification!
Great!

Sturdy bit of kit

Really well made and finished, easy to assemble and use. If you haven't got one yet you really should. I looked at many different offerings on the market before deciding on this one. Very pleased indeed.

Really easy to assemble and use
17 February 2020 by Phillip H
The largest pin fits my Suzuki SV650 AL7 ... and makes raising the front wheel a 15 second job.
On my bike, care needs to be taken to avoid the front brake hose, but other than that, it's straight-forward to use.
One trivial issue, is that the spring clips kept getting displaced out of position - since the linkage sometimes comes in contact with the ground. The solution, is just to tap them through, into the "2nd" position.

Brilliant!

This stand is very sturdy and built quality is excellent. The height adjustment is a real bonus as other stands I tried didn't raise the front wheel enough on my Aprilia.

Pins don't fit the bottom yoke of a Tuono
17 May 2018 by Jan V
The stand comes with a range of pins to fit the bottom yoke, biggest one is 17mm bottom yoke of a Tuono has 26mm hole, had to make a packer up myself to be able to use. Other problem was the carrier, first parcel turned up damaged, parts bag had split with what was left of the pins and brackets etc. loose in the box. Sportsbikeshop collected and sent a replacement straight away, still waiting for that one to turn up, Sportsbikeshop send a third one out again straight away and that one turned up. Actual product quality is pretty good but they should state which bikes it does or doesn't fit

It's not bad but I wouldn't call the quality 'high' as some reviews suggest.

Perfect
13 December 2017 by Matt C
I already have the Moto GP rear stand and the headstock stand is built with the same robust tubular steel, solid welds and great finish. Wheels and bears move freely but a little squeaky but nothing a bit of lubricant can't sort. The stand comes with a range of pins to fit the bottom yoke. Performs effortlessly and makes a massive difference for cleaning and maintenance on your bike. A little more than a front stand that supports under the brake calipers, however this is more versatile as you can move the bars / wheel to allow better access, as well as work on the brakes themselves. Defiantly worth the extra for the work I do on the bike. However if you just need something to lift the front for minor maintenance and cleaning Moto GP do the other style front stand as well. Sportbikeshop are priced really well have excellent customer service and are always on hand if you need a question answered

Not sure

This is a well made product but I'm not sure it's right for a Honda NC750X. I had to place wooden boards under the paddock stand wheels to get enough height to get the front wheel off the ground. The worst was that the pin collides with the brake hosing behind yoke. This could be dangerous if it gets damaged.

I have owned a few cheaper ones and this one is far superior and lifts my Hayabusa with ease and holds it steady to work on. I ordered this on Saturday, received it Tuesday so will be using Sportsbikeshop again. Many thanks.

Questions and Answers

  • Will this fit my cbr250r 2011?

    April 17, 2019

Unfortunately we are not able to advise on specific fitments, apologies. As long as the hole in your bottom yoke measures 13mm, 15mm, 16.5mm, 17mm or 18mm then the stand will work. It may be worth asking on a Honda forum to find the pin size required.

  • Will this stand fit my 2017 Triumph Street Triple 765 and does the headlift pin swivel in the frame (move forwards / backwards)?

    November 3, 2017

Unfortunately due to the universal nature of the product there are no bike specific fitting lists. We would recommend that you contact your local main dealer before selecting your paddock stand.
