I can only review the fitment part as I have yet to use them. I must say never fitting brake lines before the instructions were pretty easy to follow. Mine were for a 2009 R6 and straight away from removing the OEM ones you can tell the Hel's quality is up there. PS- don't wast your money buying a vacuum pump bleed kit it only works against you - go to an aquatic shop and buy a 35p hose and pump the brakes manually... the vacuum pump bleed kit only forces the brake fluid out and introduces air either that or the one I bought was utter s**t ! You live and learn.
I could definitely tell the difference. It's like night and day. The performance is great I'm able to brake later and get to my desired corner speed quicker.

NOTE Kit consists of 2 brake lines.
HEL Performance brake lines replace rubber hoses which are fitted to most bikes as standard. The stainless braided hoses provide better braking feel by reducing the flex in the hose; flex in the rubber hoses cause the spongy brake lever feel, reducing performance and increasing braking distance. Brake lines are bike specific therefore a direct replacement for the existing line.
Racing kits take the shortest route from the master cylinder to the caliper. The lines usually bypass any Y-splitters in the existing system, this reduces the number of places where the brakes can leak.
Questions and Answers
What are the lines lengths for each of the lines, banjo centre to banjo centre? Also need the length checked for the rear for a 2013 R6 please.
February 23, 2017The measurements are approximate, as the line lengths that we have are the cut line lengths, and then 50mm is added for the banjos.The measurements below include the banjos. The Front upper line is 640mm The front lower line is 665mm. The rear line (quick find number 176939) is 600mm.
