The proper thing.

This is the proper thing if you want it to last. It is metal and not some cheaper plastic part. It clamps up nice and tight so won't let the camera fall over while in use.
Truly a rugged item at a sensible price.

Good length for high mounted handle bars

Feels very well mate and durable. Used in conjunction with stem mount it comes above the handlebars on bikes with higher mounted bars.

RAM arms are superbly made & built to last and this one ticks all the boxes. This one has a double use as a phone mount for the quad lock fixture, plus I can use this with my double take mirrors.

The RAM-MC-201-C, long double socket arm, has a socket at both ends that accommodates 1" ball bases. A single spring inside the arm opens the end sockets, allowing you to pivot the ball and socket connection. This socket technology allows for almost infinite adjustment and perfect viewing angles.
