Held Quattrotempi Protectors - Hips & Ribs

Like most, my Richa Cyclone trousers come with a bit of soft foam in the hips. So I measured the pocket size and these fit the best (having cut the two little 'wings' off). Simple cut across the middle of the pocket (which is unfortunately not provided with an opening) and squeeze them in. That way they won't escape out of any top or bottom opening. Bit of tape seals the cut. If your size allows, you can even leave the foam in, hip side, for added comfort / protection, but not necessary. I have had no issues with folding over like the other reviewer, may be his pocket is a different size. Good value level 2 upgrade.

I'm not sure if these are designed to fit in a special shaped pocket, if so then they well do a better job, but in my Richa trousers hip pocket, they fit but the two side pieces kept folding back on themselves, so I cut them off, but the pads can still fold back on themselves inside the pocket. They fill the pocket fine, but are on very thin flexible backing so fold too easily for my liking. I bought them as they are Level 2 protection (the D3O hip pads I had were so tiny they would have been next to useless). If they are in the right place when you put your trousers on, all well and good, but if they have shifted it's a pain to get them back in place.

Good fit. Very comfy, good quality, hopefully won't need to test them fully.

Nice design, they offer the protection but with great flexibly and comfort.
