Would these knee sliders be compatible with other brands of leather pants or only RST?

Yes, the knee sliders can be used with other brands of trousers/suits as long as they feature a Velcro fastener for them to attach to.

Any advice on to strapping the knee pads to other trousers than leathers? Like a rubber band etc. Many Thanks

Original replacement

Bought as a like-for-like replacement on my RST leathers. The RST velcro is strong and, it seems, consequently there isn't the need for a massive surrounding patch/flaps of velcro. For me, being tall, it means I can position the slider really close to the top outer corners on my suit for a flatter (less beveled) contact with the track, and not have bits of velcro flapping about and getting worn away.

I purchased a pair of leather trousers and they arrived without the knee sliders so I emailed Sportsbikeshop and told them. They replied almost instantly and apologised and promptly sent me the knee sliders.
Sportsbikeshop 11/10 for customer service - they really do take care of their customers

Bought them for a knee down course. Terrifying but they worked a treat. They may wear over time but the fit was secure and they did the job. Not sure when I'll need them again!

Great Fit

Great looking sliders, fit well and match with my RST leathers, I had previously purchased the same sliders, however the description did not really explain they have the fluffy type velco, they were described as 'reverse' it was only when I called SBS, the helpful chap explained it to me, and promptly amended my order for the correct type, ie with the sharp grippy velcro, got a bit delayed by the postal strikes, but eventually arrived, I am happy.

These sliders are great. I bought them to go with my RST CPX-C jeans and they fit perfectly. The velcro is really strong and the tabs at the bottom make it a lot easier to remove them. All I need to do now is get my knee down!
