The water can still somewhat get in if you're in absolutely torrential rain.

I use these with my motorcycle boots which now have holes in them so no longer waterproof. These overboots keep the boots dry. But I have noticed the overboots are a bit wet on the inside after rain so maybe not 100% rainproof but good enough I'll say.

Ideally you want waterproof boots so that you don't have to worry about overboots. So go and get yourself waterproof boots. But if for whatever reason you can't then these will get you through until you're able to get yourself waterproof boots!

The best thing about them is unlike some other overboots where you have to put your boots inside almost like you're putting a sock on your boots, these just go around your boot and keep the sole of your boot exposed so you still get the grip of your boot. But I wouldn't go hiking with these overboots.

Bought these so I don't have a gap at the bottom of my pull on waterproof trousers, they do that job well, I hopefully WON'T see how waterproof they are when I do France and Spain

Bought these for my wife as she suffers more with wet feet as a pillion. Quality looks good for the money, although we haven't used them in a downpour as yet. One piece of advice is buy one size bigger than your shoe size. We first bought small and they were child size!!

Very good quality.
Not yet been tested in heavy rain yet but they feel good quality.
Could do with stretched and un-stretched sizes rather than just shoe size.

There are 2 different sizes described on the package.
On the backside L = 42-43
On the inside L=41-42
I have size 43 boots and the L was way too small had to send it back. The replacement (next size up) will take approx. 7 weeks to receive as it is out of stock. Very unfortunate.
Otherwise the product looks solid enough. Didn't have a chance to try it on...

Very happy with purchase, I gave them a couple of runs in heavy rain and shoes were dry. Very easy to put on, definitely better than fully soled. I have SIDI ST shoes with are quite big and cover fits perfectly. Once folded they take little room and can be easily put under seat or in rucksack. Great product.

Given these a few long runs - once in torrential rain. The construction, material and finish mean the do their job well (and they look good on). Furthermore, they're a lot easier to put on than a fully soled overboots and take little room once folded up. Very handy.

The only downside is they're missing steel toe caps to kick the odd wing or door of undisciplined car drivers.
