R&G Racing Radiator Guard - Honda CBF1000 FA

The guard is made of flimsy metal mesh. If I had the time again I would have just bought the same piece of mesh custom fabricated for 1/4 of the price and used an extra tie wrap of my own. I am giving it 2 stars as it does function but it is poor value. Good luck trying to get the tie wraps on without taking off the fairing.

You would think that if you were going to braze-on one fastening point at the bottom of the guard, you might also add the two points at the top. Instead you have to wrestle on two cable ties which in my mind cheapens the whole effect and in my case also meant I had to disconnect the radiator and pull it forward in order to get the ties between the mountings and the frame.

Excellent guard, quality product that looks good on the bike.
