R&G Racing Tail Tidy - Ducati 749 / R / S / 999 / R / S

The tail tidy has a solid construction, mounts well onto the bike and looks nice on the bike. The lights themselves are good and once working are bright. However, the electronics supplied are very poor with little to no explanation of how to set up. There is a very basic "indicator wire to top left of connector" kind of explanation, but if you don't have any skill with a soldering iron you're going to fall short. The resistors supplied are far too big to both fit in the cable compartment of the tidy. The resistors are required to slow the indicator flash rate, and basically are supposed to be wired across each indicator as an energy dump... I ended up getting some similarly rated through hole resistors and soldering them across the wire terminals on the indicator circuit board. The wire connector caps are poor, and I ended up using the original connectors which are much easier to attach all the wires to. This all will take you at least a couple of hours assuming you have the right parts and the will power!
