What a good idea

Some thing so small and easy to fit to the exhaust which will protect it and save you a lot of money should the bike have a spill protecting your investment at such little cost, this is a brilliant idea and everyone should have one and fit it yourself. Regards Bryan M

Good product but could be improved

It's a good product that fits relatively easily on to the exhaust end can. It's a little fiddly to fit the rubber strip underneath the metal strap, and if honest I think this could be improved - it would be easy to let this slip and scratch your exhaust if not careful. Once fitted it seems secure and hopefully should protect the exhaust if the bike has a fall - I haven't tested this yet fortunately!

Should you drop or crash your bike, your end can is likely to be scraped. However, when an R&G exhaust protector is correctly placed on the exhaust the damage to your exhaust is likely to be greatly reduced. A large shock absorbing rubber under the protector casing and large enveloped jubilee clip ensure the exhaust protector stays exactly where it should and doesn't damage the exhaust during installation and throughout its life.
