Gear Gremlin Oil Filter Wrench

Bought the smallest to fit my filter but it was still too big. No 65mm listed so stupidly ordered the 68mm alongside my filter.

What can you say... It's a filter wrench.

The socket wrench fits the filter perfect and makes the removal of the oil filter quick and easy and a must for oil and filter changes.

It fits and it works. I love it.

Product as described. No problems. It fitted well and did the job.

I normally use the chain oil filter tool but it can make a mess of the filter. This little tool is perfect, no damage to the filter and so much easier than the chain.

Must have tool if changing our own oil & filter - really saves time and effort.

I have another of these which keeps getting borrowed so now, I can always change my filters when I want. Great piece of kit. Saves time and effort.

I brought the 65mm x 14 flutes, one to remove the OEM filter on a Honda CB500X 2016, fitted perfectly, made the job quick and easy.

Worked no problem for me.

Perfect fit on FZ6N's oil filter, and it worked like a charm replacing it.

Good tool, does exactly what it say it does. No problems getting the old filter off and new one on!

As others have said, this wrench seems to have a good tight fit over the filter but when a lot of force is required it will skip a face or two. This happened to me whilst trying to remove the old filter, which was very tight, and also while tightening the new one. (Requires two turns to stop leaking - hence the reason for being very tight). To be fair I don't think it's entirely the fault of the wrench - the flats on filters these days are very indistinct and round shouldered and it seems that this allows the wrench to turn or skip over the shoulders while applying a high torque. Still, it got me there in the end but I fear I may have to resort to the chain wrench to remove the filter next time. This is the first time I have tried one of these,(car filters don't leak just with hand tightening!) so I don't know if any brand of these wrenches actually work any better.

Got the filter off my ER6F but the torque wrench end ate into the filter wrench and twisted by about 45 degrees. But did come off after a lot of force. I will be welding a bolt to it for next time. In fairness to the product it could of been down to Kawasaki over tightening it.
