Bad threading

Great product but how the threading is designed on the mounting brackets is poor. there is a metal spring kinda thing which sits inside which on mine wasn't seated properly and caused the bolt to cross thread, damaging the bracket making it unusable. sportbikeshop of course replaced this for me no problem but that's something to look out for.
