Silkolene - Pro Prep 500ml

Tried others but always return to Pro Prep. Don't have to use much, just don't get it dripping of the metal/plastics! Wash and dry the bike and use this and it's easier to wash the next time. Delivery time from SBS as good as usual.

Tried the rest this is the best also a bit more expensive but worth it as you tend to use less

Have tried all the similar products over the years but Pro Prep is without doubt the best, it must have a special additive that the others don't have.

Best bike protection product works great on metal, metal coatings and plastics.

Bike looks like new again. Used this product many times and extremely pleased with the end result.

I use my bike a lot and in all weathers. People often think I'm a dry weather biker only as my bikes always look clean - the secret is this spray (and a quick wash). I use it every time time I wash the bike and it leaves a lovely finish; a nice shine. I spray it on the engine and plastics etc. It looks great and stops muck and road dirt sticking to the bike. This makes washing it really quick and easy. It's not designed as a rust protector but I do find metal surfaces don't rust as I wash and spray the bike regularly so no longer use a corrosion spray on the bike.

I originally bought this having seen someone using it on YouTube to give the engine and plastics a nice shine after a wash which it does really well. It makes everything look like new. But I've also found using it regularly really does make cleaning much easier; mud and dirt just doesnt cling to surfaces I've sprayed. The bike stays a lot cleaner longer and looks better too.

I've really noticed the difference in terms of lack of dirt sticking to the bike since I started using this product and it is amazing at removing chain lube fling from the back wheel.

I've used pro prep on everything from my m/ bike, lawn mower, cleaning tools, this simply does what it says on the tin.

I've used lots of bike cleaning products and really like my bikes to look good. I saw Silkolene Pro Prep recommended on a YouTube video and thought I'd try it as it looked good. It's very good! Sprayed on black plastic and the engine after washing it gives a lovely effortless shine. One big advantage is that when riding the bike when its wet and dirty the road muck and water just run off the bike. It just repels muck and water. Great stuff. I use it after I was the bike every time now. My bikes look better than when they left the showroom brand new.

The most tiresome job is cleaning chain lube from the wheels, pro prep is unbeatable just like knife through butter. The chain lube comes off with a wipe, a 30 minute job is done in 5 minutes, beat that.
