Hello! I've recently ordered this product and it came without the rod or any bolts. I am wondering if that was a mistake or where I can purchase the rod and bolts separately. Thank you for the answer in advance.
March 26, 2019Hi, the picture on the website are generic. The fork protectors for your bike do not use a rod or bolts. The instructions should be included, but are also below if you need them. FITTING INSTRUCTIONS FOR FP0001 FORK PROTECTORS GSXR600 96- 01, GSXR750 96- 99, GSXR1000K1, HAYABUSA Please note that the way the kit is packed does not necessarily represent the way of mounting to the bike Position the protector with the wider neck in front of the left side of the front wheel spindle (left as you sit on the bike) Place soft cloth in front of protector Tap the protector into place, using a hammer or similar implement Repeat procedure on the throttle side of the bike, except using the protector with the narrower neck
