Have always had Shoei helmets previously, decided due to pricing would have a change.
Bought the X-lite and happy with it.
Fit for the medium is the same as the Shoei if not more comfortable, finish is great and I find it light.
Quality is slightly down but for the price excellent.
Relatively quiet, so overall very happy.
Would recommend.

This is my first helmet, and I bought it online without trying other brands, not the wisest thing to do but I was not disappointed with this helmet! The carbon texture work is amazing and the as soon as I unpacked it, it was evident that this is a high quality helmet. I'm size medium and this fits me perfectly and feels light.
When I took it out for a ride I noticed that the aerodynamic are great especially when turning my head as the one I used from the training centre did blast my head whenever I looked to my side. And to top it up, the Pin lock is great addition and very easy to fit and it's hard to fog once installed.
Very satisfied with the quality and the service from SPS is second to none!

Stunning Finnish and took my Cardo nicely, ear pockets fitted 44mm speaker's, snug fit but not uncomfortable. Visor ratchet system work really well to.

I have the 803 as well. This one is just as comfortable and almost as light. Visor is more positive to adjust and clip closed and the sun visor works great. Not the quietest. Does not vent as well as the 803.

Had a few x-lite carbon helmets but now got an adventure bike so thought I would go for a peak and internal sun visor. Wind noise good and seal from the visor good. Can be a bit tricky to close the visor when fully open due to the peak but you get used to it, internal sun visor tab should be a little bigger. Build quality good and the internals for fitting speakers etc are very good, fitted my Cardo in no time with all the built in wire channels etc. I would have given it 5 but due to the visor being difficult to close and the internal sun visor closure tab should be a little bigger for gloves.
