It's ok for the money but it s not the best sound . It breaks up and crackles but it's good for music loud enough

GOOD PRICE FOR THIS CARDO
09 May 2025 by Bill B
This is my second Cardo unit and is everything I wanted. Better than my older Cardo Q3 and with mesh connection, which is good.
I did have a few minor problems setting the unit to connect with my phone and TomTom GPS but that may have been down to me. Perseverance got me there eventually and it seems to work a dream now. The JBL speakers are really good as I am hard of hearing and wear ear plugs when I ride.

Game changer
15 April 2025 by Alan D
It’s amusing that I never realised how much I needed this until I started using it. To be clear, I don’t ride in groups, so the intercom element is irrelevant. For me, the plus is being able to listen to music on the move. I initially thought it might be a distraction, it is, however only in the sense that it takes away the white noise of the wind and engine. I find i now ride far more relaxed on longer journeys with tunes to listen to. The JBL speakers are good and installation is straight forward (some good YouTube videos online). The only minor gripe might be that the thickness of the speakers might press against your ears in some helmet sizes/shapes. There are packs with spare pads/mounting brackets, so if you have multiple helmets it’s pretty easy to do. The actual cable installation only takes about 15 minutes.

Simple to install, easy to use
13 April 2025 by Nathan S
Having had a packtalk slim previously, I found this easy to install, the app works well and the new features of the Neo are useful and add to the experience. The new setup to use the functions is relatively easy and just takes a little practise. The battery life is great and the speaker are loud. Very happy.

Cardo Neo mesh
04 April 2025 by Rocco
Liking this intercom so far, had the Free on before but every time I carried out a lifesaver to my left myself shoulder was either pushing the pause button or turning the volume up. So the fact the roller volume button is situated in the middle of the device is ideal. JBL speakers are great quality. Very impressed with it so far

King of intercom
25 February 2025 by Mark O
Sound quality is amazing
But some operations are confusing and too many options to complete a task renders messing about quite a bit to get to know the system
App helps but doesn't rectify all the hang ups
Connects well with none cardo Bluetooth competitors
I'm sure once lots of practice it will be child's play
But for now - a rubix cube

Genuinely surprised me
21 February 2025 by Rhys C
I was genuinely surprised at how good this really was, the battery charged in just over an hour the volume is very loud and also very clear, Went on a 70 mile ride and somehow battery was still basically full when I got home. Certainly worth the money

Clean comms with Cardo Packtalk Neo
05 February 2025 by Stewart M
Easy to install in my modular helmet using the boom mic, easy to set up and very responsive to voice commands.
Great for group rides and banter or warning of upcoming hazards without waving or shouting to the rest of the group.
Also great for listening to music or calls while riding alone.
I would highly recommend

Cardo convert maybe
25 October 2024 by Alan O
Had Sena for years but after a recent 30k doing duff, and Sportsbikeshop being absolutely brilliant and giving me refund, I decided to try a cardo Neo it works as it should is completely waterproof and the music is beautiful, I'll see how things go but up to yet I'm a convert just got to persuade my pals now

The quintessential cardo
30 September 2024 by Thomas G
This is the one to get. The model up from this detatches from your helmet slightly easier but is not worth the price increase.
The sound quality is perfect, the fact that this one let you use voice assistant features on an android phone, where my old freecom would not is absolutely essential.
It's just a shame that these are still so expensive. But if you're buying a comm unit and can stretch to the price of the packtalk neo then it is worth the price increase from whatever cheaper unit you are looking at.

Top Gadget
03 August 2024 by Charles J
Was a bit apprehensive buying this as they aren't cheap. Decided to bight the bullet and don't regret it. Cracking piece of kit.
To top it off, they fitted it free of charge there and then.
The unit itself has brilliant audio and once you get used to the voice command it's just perfect..
Would highly recommend it.
