Coming back to motor scooters after 60 years, I am out of touch with modern products. I needed a crash helmet and chose the Caberg Riviera VX partly due to its colour and the helmet type.
I have to say that I am extremely pleased with this helmet which is comfortable and light with a visor that keeps out the wind effectively and has an internal sun visor which is easy to operate by a slier on top of the helmet.
Helmets have certainly improved over the last 60 years and am thoroughly please with this one.

This helmet is really comfy and really light, though different manufacturers fit different head shapes. The main thing I like about it is the amount of vision you get, your hardly have to turn your head to do a life saver check.

I have a Caberg Droid flip front, which is great, but wanted an open face for the summer. This helmet has a bigger field of vision, fits great and oddly, if the visor is up the first notch, it's quieter than the droid. I'm loving it

Comfortable Lid. Lower part of screen can fog up in wet weather as it's close to your mouth but lifting it up a notch avoids this whilst still giving ample eye protection. Inner tinted visor is excellent. Great value. I've had a few Caberg lids and they have all been good

Has this helmet got slots for glasses.
November 5, 2024I've tried this helmet with my slim frame glasses, and they seemed fine to me. That being said, I couldn't see any slots inside the helmet.
